The Roots

As a social worker, I have worked in community mental health, school settings, and private practice. I am a social worker supervisor and professor. For years, I have served as a useful source for those seeking help or mentorship. I finally decided to own that role and be intentional about it. I started writing about my collective experience as a therapist, my passions, and my thoughts regarding mental health topics.  I founded drjenniferpolizottotauks.com with a mission to share with others my perspective and collaborate with other therapists to share their clinical expertise.
